Fibula
Etruria, Italy, ca. 700 BCE
One-piece bronze boat fibula with an extended catchplate (part missing). Northern Etruscan boat (navicella) type. Fine grooving into three broad crosswise bands. A lengthwise band runs down the centre of the body, with single chevrons issuing from the sides. Ring notches on the foot and the back of the body.
